O&S Sports Car Restoration was established by Ohannes Akkirayian in February 1990. Ohannes has over 40 years experience in restoration, a master craftsman with the talent to fabricate virtually anything out of aluminium or steel, to perfection.

Earlier on in life, he worked in the restoration business in Europe, USA and South America. Then when Ohannes moved to Australia, over 25 years ago, he was a valued employee of a company called Classic Autocraft, in Concord Sydney. In the 1980's, they were known as being the ultimate in car restoration workshops in Australia with a world wide reputation for remanufacturing the Jaguar D-Type. Even the rivets on the body work were of the same number, spaced identically to the originals.

O&S Sports Car Restorations now has a team of seven, two body workers, two mechanics, a painter, trimmer, and a pattern maker. The latest member to join is Ohannes' son Ariel, who started his apprenticeship in 2001. A good teacher, a good pupil.

Beacham Jaguar Since 1988 Dr. Greg Beacham has been restoring and re-engineering classic Jaguars to a world-class standard from his Beacham Independent Jaguar facility in New Zealand. While building an estimable reputation for Beacham restorations in Europe and the UK, Dr. Beacham detected a potential new market - people who liked the look of the original Jaguars, but who found them too "difficult" for regular use. Bit-by-bit, mechanical components were exchanged for systems from newer models. Technical advancement reached a pinnacle when Dr. Beacham started replacing the old XK 6-cyl. motors with modern V8 engines transplanted from contemporary Jaguars.

A flash MK10 IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! IT'S A DRAWING ROOM ON WHEELS! Well, she was a rusted-out hulk, ready for the scrapyard. Somehow, the Jaguar MK 10 that Sigurd Fluevog bought, back in 1965, had fallen into such egregious disrepair that any sensible person would write her off, without a second thought.

100 Percent XJC's and nothing Else The Jaguar XJC is one of the world's most beautiful cars. It is also Jaguar's rarest production car with fewer than 10,500 of them built between 1975 and 1978.
