Beacham Jaguar Since 1988 Dr. Greg Beacham has been restoring and re-engineering classic Jaguars to a world-class standard from his Beacham Independent Jaguar facility in New Zealand. While building an estimable reputation for Beacham restorations in Europe and the UK, Dr. Beacham detected a potential new market - people who liked the look of the original Jaguars, but who found them too "difficult" for regular use. Bit-by-bit, mechanical components were exchanged for systems from newer models. Technical advancement reached a pinnacle when Dr. Beacham started replacing the old XK 6-cyl. motors with modern V8 engines transplanted from contemporary Jaguars.
